Who we are

1st Chesham formed in 1922 has been providing the challenge and fun of Scouting firstly for boys and latterly for both boys and girls consistently for 90 years.

Following the original ethos devised by Baden Powell over 100 years ago, the Scout Association has modernised with changing times, to provide an appealing program of events and challenges for children aged 6 to 18.

We at 1st Chesham are the only Scout Group in Chesham to be fortunate enough to own our own headquarters.

We currently have, one Beaver Colony, One Cub Pack and One Scout Troop, run by a dedicated group of volunteer leaders, ably supported by a strong board of volunteer trustees.
