Cake Sale

On behalf of the 1st Chesham Scouts Exec we’d like to say a big thank you the leaders and the cubs & scouts who came down to help with the Cake sale this morning. Those serving did a brilliant job (you know who you are) as well as the guys who went mobile and sold cakes into local shops, an ingenious idea…
Through the efforts of every one, we raised just over 300…
I don’t have to say that this was more than we hoped for, but made possible by all who contributed cakes, as well as their time.
Once again, a big thanks

Chris

Sainsburys Active Kids 2013

I have just arrived home to find the postman has struggled to deliver a huge box of promotional material to me for this years Active kids promotion.

Starting in store from tomorrow (30th January) vouchers can be collected until 22nd May. Please collect for 1st Chesham. We have been very lucky in past years to receive many thousands of vouchers, which have allowed us to receive all manner of play equipment, camping and cooking equipment to support the activities for the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

The voucher collection box will be in the HQ lobby from this Friday.

Please Support us.

Friday 18th January and the snow

Just to reconfirm the e-mail and Facebook messages that both Beavers and Scouts is CANCELLED this evening due to the heavy snow and the difficulty of getting around the town.

The leaders of both sections hope that normal service will resume next week.
